Little kitty look after little baby......

Yong: This is our neighbour 's little kitty. The kitty accompany the baby sleeping. Don't they look so lovely......

Having a cat at home is the most enjoyable and comforting feelings you will have if you treat them with love too. I still remember the first time I had Mika, he never the chosen one at first time(there were 4 kitten to choose from) but when I finally want to bring a cat home I just fall in love with this cute and orangie kitten. He was very energetic little kitty and run so fast........but very shy to people.

All the year I'm with Mika, his character even depicted little of my character too. I'm not very outspoken, Mika also not so vocalise, he seldom raise his voice except when demanding for food. The best part is Mika always stay in the house if I'm not working. He always follow me in the house, accompany me in the kitchen and lay lazily on couch with me. To me cat is the best friend to ladies even men too.......:o))

If you have cats please gave them the love they deserve, surely you can feels the love from them.

The feast is over......time to rest....

Yong: Well........what a busy day indeed! I just finished freshen up and laying on my bed waiting for my eye to get sleepy.....Mika just can't stop nagging......do not know what he wants! Aaaizzz how can I sleep right now!

Today all day I'm at the kitchen.....since we got news the night before that 4 of my cousins with their family wants to celebrate Eidul Adha with us....we're so do not know what to cook! The plan was to cook "Nasi Minyak", "rendang" ,"udang masak sos" and "sambal goreng" and I also want to cook the second cake this morning. We had to make plan B for the second menu. I call my sister and we decided to make spaghetti meatball. That the easiest and quickest dish that we can think of, beside, we just bought the ready made spaghetti sauce and do some twist on it!

Sorry I forgot to capture all the good foods but will look in my sister FB and upload some of the moment. I bake two cakes, on Saturday I made chiffon cake and this morning I made chocolate moist cake. I will upload the photo and recipe to tomorrow.....hope I have the time to do it.....

I better get some sleep as tomorrow, need to continue to clean all the pots and pans and after that need to send my Mom to get her prescription. Then I can get more rest and be a couch potato all day......miss my tv lol!

The long silence

Hello friends,

Wonder why a very long silence from me & Mika? Well, don't blame Mika, I'm the one that being ocuppied with work and others thing that need my attention. Even Mika a bit disappointed because I have less time to play with him. You know what, he even exceed his curfew time now days. His dinner now at 9.00 pm. I'm also by 10.00pm already flat, feel lazy to open the pink lappy even though it just on the bed.

Anyhow, I will try my best to put up some moment from Mika and my baking exploring in the coming days. Please don't shy away from us yet.......keep on supporting us.

His so sweet and very cuddly even while sleeping.........luv ya!

Temparory silence....

Hi friends.....

Regret to inform that Mika + Suzy/Yong will temparory blog silence since my cute lappy still out of order. I'm taking work leave from Thursday until the weekend as my Mom will be back on Friday......lots of thing to do before she reach home......



I'm sure will be lots of activities during this long holiday.....If my friend manage to repair it then posting will be regular if not then have to wait until I back to the office on 04/05/11......:o((

Is it really..... 150th post?

Hello everybody.....Sorry for the break, I've been busy this few days. Guess what....this is my 150th post! But I have to confess though that this is not actually my 150th post, instead because of my silliness I've deleted 10 post prior. Anyway, I have to give credit to my office colleague,Linda, who persuade me to start blogging. She even help me to create the goggle account. The first blog that really capture my eyes is Michico's two adorable cats from http://adan-way.blogspot.com/. I was so amazed that it become an inspiration for me to start my journey with the one and only, Mika. He truly give me "wajah ceria" all day and we happily stuck with each other for 7 years now. I'm so blessed that I've chosen Mika, he fits to our small family even though I gave a rough house trained during his early first years. I've had 4 cats before this and all are stray cats. Before I got Mika, I adopt a grey tabby cat from animal shelter which I name him Bean. After six month, he encounter health problem and 3 weeks later he died. It also took me another six month to decide if I'm ready to have another cat. Until I saw this wonderful tv show call Early Edition. It's about a cat that bring newspaper every morning to a man who then have to rescue those people that feature in the newspaper. You know what......well Mika not bring me the newspaper but he will stay and wait for me in my bedroom until I finish dress up. Whenever I'm off from work, he surely stay in the house longer than other days. I guess his trying to make up the time during I'm working.

On the other point of me, I always had a feeling that I can bake good and tasty cakes when I'm in college. Thanks to Mom when for the first time she teached me how to bake chocolate cake. Since then I taken over the baking job from my Mom until I started working, the passion suddenly vanish. But still I occasionally bakes cake, cookies or muffin for family and festive season. With introduction of blogging, few month after I started "wajah ceria", I stumble very inspiring baking blog which enlighten again the passion. Thank you Kak Rima from http://www.bisousatoi.com/ for all the wonderful recipes including your rambling...ha..ha..ha...and eventually it became addiction to start baking again. I've tried 3 recipes from Kak Rima and so far I'm happy with the progress. I bravely tried 2 recipes from other sources and the verdict was awesome from my family point of view. Now, I read and amazed with other baking website and blogger. So, I can say that Mika and my reborn passion for baking is appropriate to show the expression of "wajah ceria" of my life.

I'm also honoured and thankful for all the viewers that hop-in to our blog and supporting The Duo. I admit that I'm a very new to this medium but I promise to myself that I will learn and learn to perfect my blog page. P/S: Will be busy on Sunday, need to go to market, baking chocolate chip almond cupcake again...for the third time....he..he.. and receiving guests. Definitely Mika will be out of side the whole day.....hu..hu...Happy weekend everybody.

All good now......

Yong: I returned home only by 7.00pm, which nearly Mika dinner time. No wonder Mika last week a bit cranky because all his eating time over due.....Sorry baby....not intentionally to delay your eating time. I'm really tired for all the day outing. Fortunately, Aqie went out with his parent for dinner so I get a chance to doze with Mika in front of the tv. Thanks Aqie for lending your little pillow..... 6.30am Monday: When I do stretching on my bed, Mika also wake up and do what I do every morning..."bathing" in his own way.....

You can see, he sleep with me even though lots of promises to him I made can't fulfill last week, especially on Sunday. His actual bathing schedule delay again..... Ooo boy, I need to do something good to Mika this week. I still have busy schedule this week. My Mom going away to perform 'Umrah' in Mecca, so there will lots of relatives visiting by end of this week.

Anyway, the most matter is all good now....since Mika not pissed off with me.....

With the devastating news from Japan and the news kept worsen, still I hope everybody will have beautiful days. I'm inspire by this beautiful blossom hisbiscus in my Mom's garden. Lets pray for Japan and hope they courageous to endure this hardest part of their lifes.
