Sleepy Tuesday

Yong: Don't you just love that pinky nose.....

On the roof....

Yong: I asked Mom if she saw Mika in her room or in my room since he still not eat his dinner yet. Mom said that he heared Mika jump to her bedroom roof. So I ran quickly outside the porch and you know what..... he is definitely on the roof!

Yong: Hu...hu...Trying to scare me with those powerful eyes? Ha...ha... you look funny! Your eyes is bigger than your face.

Mika: Let me chill here few minute to cool my body tempreature. See the heat is reflected through my eyes.

Yong: I have your dinner ready....come down now.....

Mika: Ok...ok...See you in the house.....

Almond and chocolate chips cupcake part 2

Yong: Well....this is the finish touch. What do you think? As beginner, I think not bad after all....ha..ha...praise myself...Anyway the taste of cupcake is wonderful. We all like it, even our neighbour like it. I can't wait to do the next project this weekend. Hope my schedule will not let me down....... :o)

Yong: Sunday was a very hot day, even Mika had restless napping day.....Look at the way he sleep!

Yong: He choose a best spot where there is breezy to cool his body....

Mika: ..............

Easy Sunday

Mika: Good day everyone, I'm off to my patrol the neigbourhood now. Happy weekend ya......

Almond and chocolate chips cupcake part 1

Yong: Last week we had wet whether, and this week we had hot whether especially in the day. Here Mika sooth his thirsty by drinking more water than normal day

Mika: Yeah....I drink lots of water this few days even to night I can't resists this yellow bowl...

Can you see the noisy machine behind me? Yep.....Yong will start to bake in a minute.

Yong: One of my baking wish lists is almond and choc chips cupcake complete with decorating it. This is my first time making and decorating cupcake. The original recipe was taken from this link:http://cupcakerecipe.net/labels/Chocolate%20Chip%20and%20Almond%20Cupcakes.html

but I change it since I don't have plain flour. Here goes the recipe:

Ingredients:

110gm self raising flour

110gm castor sugar

110gm unsalted butter

1/4 cup of ground almond ( I use toasted flake almond & grind them)

1/4 cup of chocolate chips

2 teaspoon of vanilla essence

2 eggs

1 1/2 tablespoon of milk ( I use fresh milk)

Method:

1) Put the sugar and butter into a bowl and beat by hand with a wooden spoon or use a mixer until creamy. Add one egg at a time and beat in.
2) Sieve in the flour and mix gently. Add the ground almonds, chocolate chips, vanilla essence and mix gently

3) Divide the mixture into cupcake cases which have been placed into a baking tray. This makes about 12 cupcakes in large cases. I fill each case about half to 3/4 full. I make two batches of this batter, first batter I use small cupcake case which make 15 and the second batter I use large cupcake.
4) Pre heat the oven to gas 4--350F--180C. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes. They need to be firm to touch. Remove from the oven and cool

5) Once cool can decorate with your favourite frosting. Since this is new thing to me, I use chocolate ganache and melted white chocolate which is more easy and not messy

Mika: When are you going to finish?

Yong: Soon.....just give me one hour.....

Yong: There are ready to bake.....can't wait to see the result!

Yong: Firm and nice....I will decorate them on Sunday for our afternoon tea

Mika: Hm....I saw an Auntie cooking dinner for her family. Smell nice Auntie....

Mika: I see no cat down in the alley to night......boring....

Mika: ..........

Mika: Yong is preparing my dinner.....

Mika: Better get down before Aqie start chasing me.....

Little freedom

Yong: When Aqie chasing Mika, this is where he go....up to my bedroom roof. He sits few minute cause he saw a cat wondering down the alley.

Mika: ..........

Mika: Ooops....I'm surprise you, Yong!

Yong: When Mika saw me, he ran toward and I did not have time to change the light setting and there goes the flashy face....

Mika: I see Aqie changing his cloth....His going out!

Yong: Aqie went out with his Mommy and Daddy, so I have few hours to play with Mika at the hall and watch tv together. Since it a bit cold as raining all day, he like to stay and play close with my leg. See Mr Camel on the left, he get rassle with it good time!

Mika: I have some freedom at the moment......

Mika: Is Aqie back!

Mika: Just neighbour parking the car...can relax now....phew....

Yong: When Aqie is back, he already snooze and Mommy sent to his bedroom. Mika also got cuddle with me at the sofa

Mika: This little freedom is so precious to me......

Yong: So..so...cute...muaahh!



These days, Aqie always tease and chasing Mika. I'm so..so..concern about this situation would stress out Mika. So, when every night I see Mika sleeping like a baby, I hope he would have wonderful sleep and forget the stressful day.

Boring Sunday.....

Yong: Three days in a row, the wheather here is raining (sometime in morning and sometime in the evening). Eventhough there is sunlight but not much activities done outside.




Both 2 boys just hang in the house, one sitting outside looking out and the other lazyly watching tv.

Mika: Rain...rain...please...please go away....

Mika: Hope the raining clear soon, there will be visitors coming this late afternoon. Need to find place to stash away.

Yong: Yes, I have my cousin from Klang and Kuala Kubu Bharu visited us at 3.00pm, by then Mika already left the house to find his santuary spot. Mika only came back around 7.00pm which is near to his dinner time. For 2 weeks now I'm not baking anything, will see if this week I can bake something. I have 3 recipes in my baking wish lists.

Yong: Night a bit cold since raining all day. When I came out from the bathroom, Mika already taken place to sleep

Yong: There goes my blanket.....

Yong: Woooo....pretending to sleep ya....
